How I got started
I started out in the Structural/Civil Engineering and Architectural business back in April of 1984 after graduating from State Technical Institute at Memphis. During the years since then, I have been very fortunate to have various opportunities for learning many diverse aspects to the Structural/Civil engineering business, including quite a bit of time in the field. I have also learned a lot about the Architectural side of projects during this time.
Back around the start of 2006, I felt it was time to move away from a corporate environment and offer my services on a freelance/contract basis. After turning my life over to Christ back in January 2002, I began looking at things in the corporate world a lot differently. Many times there is a lack of integrity, ethics and corporate direction in the way businesses operate. Of course, not all things in the past have been bad, I just felt it was time for a change, time to take more control of my direction and at the time, there was a lot of work to be had. I strive to run a Christ centered business and give clients value and integrity.
A little bit about Integrity Drafting
Integrity Drafting & Design of Tennessee strives to provide Friendly, Honest, Dependable and Affordable CAD Drafting/Design services, Project Coordination services, CAD Consulting services and Field Support services on an as-needed basis, while remaining sensitive to project parameters, project budgets and especially customer satisfaction. We are NOT a portal for outsourcing to other countries, but rather, I am a technically competent person that will actually be doing the work, so nothing will be lost in translation.
Over 25 years of very diversified Architectural and Engineering
Drafting / Design, Project Coordination and Field Support experience. I have worked
on a wide variety of Commercial, Industrial, Military, Government and Residential projects
ranging from very small to $400M and everything in between.
I understand how buildings fit together as well as how they need to
look. I am very sensitive to a clients need for value
concerning their project in a world of constantly changing construction
costs. I bring to the table a unique blend of Architectural
and Structural Engineering experience, plus a knowledge of how all the design
disciplines come together on a project, as well as what happens in the
field during the construction process.
I can produce the necessary high quality drawings (using AutoCAD 2009) for any type of
project, utilizing good drafting techniques, along with an
understanding
of the importance of following CAD standards. I am also very
diligent in adhering to the latest building (IBC/IRC 2003 & 2006) and design
codes, plus any ADA and OSHA requirements that a project might have.
